Deleting products

What happens to the shelf when a product leaves your range.

Delete products with DELETE /v1/stores/{store}/products and a list of up to 1,000 codes.

Labels that showed a deleted product switch to a “No product” screen within seconds, instead of keeping the last price. They stay paired to the store and are listed as “Needs a product” in the dashboard and the mobile app, so staff can scan them onto a new product.

The batch reports how many labels each delete cleared in labelsCleared, and the labels.needs_product webhook tells your system as it happens.

Choose how the “No product” screen looks on your store’s Templates page in the dashboard. Without a choice, the normal template is used with the price left blank.
